Christmas in the Country

The 3rd annual Christmas in the Country Craft Show is this upcoming Sat in Winder, GA (Barrow County). It's the largest show in the area, and the only show that's a repeat for us this year! The show is from 10am to 5pm, and it's an easy 1/2 hour drive from Athens.

Oct 23-25 The Junior League of Athens' 2009 Marketplace

Ah--a hometown show! I've been looking forward to this weekend! We're selling at a 3-day show called the Marketplace at the Classic Center right downtown in Athens, GA.

This is an annual event sponsored by the Athens Junior League. The list of vendors (found on their blog) looks great!: http://jlamarketplace.blogspot.com/

If you are in or around Athens--stop in! The Classic Center parking deck is finished and open, and on Sat and Sun, the Marketplace is free and open to the public! There is a $15 cost for the Preview Party Friday Night, but I ^think* it includes wine tasting:)

This Weekend: Maysville Autumn Leaf Festival

It's fun living in different states. I've done wine festivals in Colorado, music festivals in Louisiana & on beach festivals in Florida (one featuring the real live Beach Boys:)

Well, we've been in GA over a year now, and this weekend my oldest son and I will go to Victorian Maysville, GA, to sell at the annual Autumn Leaf Festival. It's one of the oldest festivals in North Georgia, and the town itself is historic and interesting. The festival actually started today, but we'll be there Sat from 9am-5pm, and on Sunday from 12pm-5pm. If you are close by....come see us!
